Builds

How long does a typical Shopify build take?
Full builds typically run 4–6 weeks from kickoff to launch. Smaller scopes can finish in 3 weeks; complex catalogs or Plus-level checkout work can stretch to 8 weeks. We give you a real timeline after the discovery call, not a guess.
Do you work with Shopify Plus?
Yes. We build on Shopify and Shopify Plus. On Plus, we also handle checkout extensibility, B2B portals, multi-store setups, and Shopify Functions for custom discount logic.
Can you work with my designer or brand team?
Yes. If you have a designer, we'll partner with them on the build side. If you have brand guidelines but no designer, we'll design within your system. If you have neither yet, we'll handle both — many of our concept builds were exactly that.
What's included in a "full build"?
Custom theme, component system, product/collection setup, payment and shipping configuration, third-party integrations (Klaviyo, Recharge, Loop, etc.), performance and accessibility audits, SEO baseline, launch checklist, and 30 days of post-launch support. See the services page for the full list.

Migrations

I'm on WooCommerce / BigCommerce / Wix / Squarespace. Can you migrate me?
Yes to all four, plus Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and most custom-built stores. Our migrations preserve your catalog, customers, order history, and SEO. Every old URL gets a 301 redirect to its new home.
Will I lose SEO rankings?
Not if we do our job. Before we touch anything, we map every existing URL and crawl the current site for canonical and meta data. We deploy a complete 301 redirect map at launch and resubmit your sitemap. Most migrations see SEO restored within 2–4 weeks.
Will my store go down during migration?
No. We build the new Shopify store on a separate dev URL, test extensively, then cut DNS over at a low-traffic window. Customers see zero downtime. We can also stage a temporary maintenance page if you prefer extra caution.
Can you migrate subscriptions?
Often, yes — depends on your current subscription platform and your target on Shopify (usually Recharge, Loop, or Skio). We'll confirm what's portable during discovery.

Process & Pricing

What does it cost?
Pricing depends on scope — product count, integrations, design complexity, Plus vs standard. Most full builds land between mid-four and mid-five figures. Migrations are usually less. We share a fixed quote after discovery, not an open-ended hourly rate.
How does payment work?
Typically three payments: 40% on signing, 40% at design sign-off, 20% at launch. We can flex on the structure for large migrations.
What does your process look like?
Four phases: Discover → Design → Build → Launch. Each has clear deliverables, your role, and our role. See the process page for the full breakdown.
Do you provide ongoing support after launch?
30 days of post-launch support is included with every build — bug fixes, small tweaks, and team training. After that, we offer monthly retainers for ongoing changes or come back ad-hoc whenever you need us.

Working with us

Where are you based? Do you work remotely?
We work entirely remotely. Discovery calls are over video. Day-to-day collaboration is async via shared Figma, Notion, and Slack. We can adjust to your timezone for live demos.
Do you do design-only or development-only engagements?
Yes. Design-only (Figma comps, no build) starts smaller. Development-only (you bring the design) is fine too — we just need full design specs and assets to start.
Who actually does the work?
The person you talk to. No account managers, no handoffs to a junior team. Direct line to the builder, start to finish.
